Michael hasn’t shown up in the series yet, so he is a fanon oc. Despite his position in Heaven he is the furthest thing from all-knowing. Unless someone says otherwise, his knowledge of Hell and its inhabitants is overshadowed by his knowledge of Heaven—for obvious reasons. I’m of the mind that, since Hell isn’t his domain, he is only aware of the basics. Examples: He knows the Sins by name but not what they have been up to, he judges souls but isn’t going to waltz up to your character and start rattling off their life story to them. They’re from a different world, he wouldn’t know anything about them.
That also extends to his knowledge of other gods and their many religions, there’s a reason he asked people about their beliefs.

• Despite being the Sword of God and Heaven’s champion, he actually despises the exterminations. In his mind, angels were created to guide souls and nurture them to their full potential, not slaughter them. He knows that for every Sinner killed, a hundred more take their place, and that the act brews further hatred.
• That said, the eyes are the window to the soul. He might look kind and gentle on the outside but, even when he smiles, it rarely reaches his eyes. He’s spent the last ten thousand years trying to repair a broken system while simultaneously trying to come to terms with what he did to Lucifer. The only way he managed to get through it was by essentially cutting off his emotions.
• Knowing that Sinners can be redeemed is both a relief and a killing blow for him. It means that he sent his brother to Hell for something that could be fixed.
• Michael isn’t just a workaholic, he is a slave to it. Burying himself in paperwork distracts him long enough to keep him from having to think. It has gotten to the point now that he does not sleep because the dreams are so vivid.
• Despite being the leader of the heavenly hosts and someone adept when it comes to battle, he will always turn to diplomacy before he raises his sword.
